I have spent thirty-seven years litigating complex commercial cases throughout Florida, and I now mediate and arbitrate the same disputes. Insurance coverage, commercial landlord-tenant, contract, real property, partnership and corporate governance, employment, business torts, non-compete, construction, and post-judgment collection. My appellate practice spans the Florida District Courts of Appeal, the Florida Supreme Court, and the Eleventh Circuit, including an en banc argument that produced a precedent-setting decision on evidence at summary judgment.
The mediation work is an addition to a fully active litigation practice, not a transition from it. That matters because the strongest mediator on any given case is the one who understands the full arc of the dispute, from filing through trial through appeal, and who knows what each stage actually costs the parties in dollars, time, and leverage. That is the perspective I bring to the room. I arrive having read the pleadings, the rulings, and the depositions, and I conduct the day as preparation-driven work rather than as a shuttle of numbers between rooms.
