As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit and County Court Mediator (#40840CR), I specialize in cases where substantive expertise and understanding people's expectations—not just legal posturing—is required to reach a settlement.
Personal Injury & Bio-Medical Context: > My doctoral background in science education, with a focus on medical and biological systems, allows me to navigate complex injury valuations and causation issues with a level of depth few neutrals can offer. I speak the language of medical experts and insurance adjusters, facilitating more informed and efficient discussions on fact patterns involving medical necessity, prognosis, and liability.
First-Party Property & Insurance: > With years of experience on the Florida front lines, I bring a seasoned perspective to property insurance claims and hurricane damage disputes. I understand the nuances of policyholder-carrier deadlocks and provide the practical, experience-driven insight necessary to identify realistic pathways to resolution in first-party matters across both Florida and Texas jurisdictions.
Technology & School/Education: > I serve as a niche specialist for technology disputes, where my proficiency in Python and Data Analytics allows me to dissect complex software contracts, SaaS deadlocks, and data privacy matters. Additionally, I apply my academic expertise to Education Law disputes, bridging the gap between institutional administrative frameworks and party interests.
Available for virtual mediation services in Florida and Texas, my goal is to provide a structured, evidence-based environment where parties can move past impasse and toward a definitive resolution.

Approach
Our goal in all mediations is to create a relaxed atmosphere, where everyone involved is comfortable and understands the process. This decreases the adversarial nature of the dispute and increases the chances of an agreement being reached. The goal of mediation is for everyone to part amicably, regardless of the outcome. Our approach varies depending on the situation, but you can usually expect to start together in a Zoom meeting, and then breaking out into caucus (small groups) to discuss. Everyone can be brought together at any time upon request, and everyone will be brought together at the end.
