Lauren Girard Adams is a mediator and workplace conflict management consultant.

As a consultant, Lauren helps leaders and teams navigate challenging dynamics, strengthen connections, enhance communication, and engage collaboratively.  For over a decade, Lauren has provided facilitation, mediation, training and coaching support to clients across industries, including biotech, healthcare, banking, higher ed, manufacturing, and governmental organizations.

As a mediator and neutral facilitator, Lauren helps clients resolve employment, probate, family, personal injury, real estate, and general civil litigation matters.

Lauren is a former Clinical Assistant Professor of Law at Northwestern University School of Law. While teaching at Northwestern from 2001-2006, Lauren advocated for youth in school expulsion and suspension matters and represented children in juvenile delinquency proceedings. Prior to teaching at Northwestern Law School, Lauren clerked for the Honorable Ruben Castillo of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Lauren received her B.A. Cum Laude from Skidmore College in 1991, and her J.D. Cum Laude from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 1999. Lauren has also completed Champlain College’s Basic Mediation course; Hess Gehris's Advanced Mediation Training; and Roundtable Mediation's Certified Family Mediation Training Program.
