ADR Experience

Rachel focuses on resolving workplace disputes and mediating claims involving allegations of unlawful employment practices by providing a confidential space where the people most affected by the dispute can control its outcome. Rachel began mediating in 2019 and since has conducted more than 100 mediations, the majority of which involve employment law matters, including: Discrimination (age, race, sex, disability, pregnancy, religion, sexual orientation), Sexual harassment and sexual assault, Wage and hour disputes (FLSA, NYLL, unpaid wages, overtime), FMLA leave violations, ADA Title III public accommodation, Breach of employment contracts or restrictive covenants, Retaliation and whistleblower claims, Wrongful termination, and Partnership disputes and dissolution.

Approach

Rachel believes that resolution is not possible unless all parties are heard. Her listening-first approach, and calm demeanor, set the tone for productive sessions. Mediation with us is not about winning or losing. It’s about exploring options, understanding perspectives, and creating workable outcomes. Whether the issues involve discrimination, harassment, unpaid wages, or contractual breaches, or goal is straightforward: to help people resolve disputes and move forward with confidence.
