Ronald Kreismann has served as a neutral for over twenty years on the American Arbitration Association’s Employment Panel in addition to being a panelist on CPR’s Employment Disputes Panel. During the course of his high-profile career of more than forty years as a lawyer specializing in labor and employment law, he has represented employers and labor unions in a wide variety of employment matters and labor disputes which has given him a unique perspective on the issues confronting employers, labor unions and management. He has arbitrated claims under federal and state labor laws raising wage and hour issues, and claims of discrimination on the basis of age, race religion, national origin among others. Because of his expertise, Mr. Kreismann has been selected to serve as a contract arbitrator under collective bargaining agreements in the hospitality and maritime industries.
Mr. Kreismann has also served as a mediator on the Employment and Labor Panels in the Federal Courts in the Southern and Eastern District of New York for more than fifteen years and as a mediator on the American Arbitration Association’s Employment Panel. He has successfully mediated a wide array of employment disputes involving claims of discrimination on the basis age, race, gender and disability and workplace harassment as well as individual and class action claims raising wage and hour issues on a class and collective basis.
