Synaya R. Jones is the owner and operator of Peaceful Solutions, LLC. She will mediate family and civil disputes as well as workplace and community disputes online utilizing zoom format; however, in-person mediation is available upon request. She began a career in mediation after state government service as well as employment as a substitute teacher for Lexington School District One. She is a trained and experienced Family Court and Civil Mediator who has been mediating family and civil cases since 2012 where she began mediating numerous cases in magistrate court for the Mediation Centers in the State of South Carolina and previously served as a volunteer arbitrator for the Lexington and Richland Counties’ Juvenile/Youth Arbitration Programs. As part of her volunteer arbitration duties, she has conducted anger management and/or conflict resolution training as mandated from the Juvenile/Youth Arbitration Programs. A firm believer in the merits of education, Ms. Jones earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, a Master of Arts in Human Behavior and Conflict Management from Columbia College and attended the MBA program at the University of Phoenix. She received a certificate in Family Court Mediation from the South Carolina Bar and a Certificate in Juvenile Arbitration from the Lexington County Solicitor’s Office. Additionally, Ms. Jones has certificates in Nonviolent Conflict Resolution Training for Trainers and Anger Management Group Instruction Training. She is available to mediate family, civil, workplace and/or community mediation and/or provide consulting services for individuals and/or local, civic, governmental or religious organizations.
